West Valley Fire Department Hosts Successful 2024 Angel Fund Event

The West Valley Fire Department recently held the 2024 Angel Fund event, honoring this year’s
recipient, Ricardo Perez. After experiencing his first seizure in January and receiving a
diagnosis of a brain tumor, the community came together to support him. Proceeds from the
event were entirely dedicated to Ricardo, showcasing the spirit of generosity and solidarity.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of vendors and food trucks, while Vitalant Blood Services
successfully collected multiple blood donations throughout the day. The Humane Society of El
Paso facilitated dog adoptions, helping to find forever homes for their lovable pups. Competitive
yet fun volleyball and cornhole tournaments kept the atmosphere lively, complemented by great
music from local bands. A stunning car show showcased an array of impressive vehicles,
making the day even more special. A heartfelt thank you to all attendees who participated and
contributed to this meaningful cause!
